Our institute is now advertising a PhD position on mapping of coral reefs using underwater hyperspectral imaging and machine learning.
The project would be great for somebody with experience in computer vision analysis and a strong interest in marine or reef ecology. The inter-disciplinary project will involve field work and a broad training program. The position is embedded in an EU Marie Curie training network “4D-REEF”, with a consortium of 15 partner institute across the world.
