The 2025 round of the IOCCG Trevor Platt Memorial Scholarship is now open for applications. The scholarship is established in memory of the late Trevor Platt, and aims to provide students and early career scientists from developing countries with the opportunity to gain valuable training and experience in ocean colour remote sensing across all aquatic environments.
One scholarship is awarded annually on a competitive basis. The scholarship offers the opportunity to conduct hands-on research or receive in-depth training at a foreign institution (outside of the recipient’s home country) for up to 3 months (click here for full scholarship conditions). Scholars are also funded to present the outcome of their scholarship at a relevant conference, such as International Ocean Colour Science Meeting.
The deadline for applications is 12 November 2024.
See the IOCCG website for all scholarship requirements and to apply.
