The Ocean Decade provides a framework that convenes across geographies, scales and disciplines to co-design and co-deliver the knowledge needed to fill critical knowledge gaps and develop ocean-based solutions to meet planetary challenges such as climate change. Generation and use of such knowledge will require a robust enabling environment with adequate resources, capacity and access to data and information.
