The MarineComp workshop at the International Conference on Computational Science – ICCS 2019 – is now inviting submissions reporting original, unpublished research and recent developments in Marine Modelling and Computation. Deadline 15 December 2018.

https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iccs20190

All accepted papers will be included in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series and indexed by Scopus, EI Engineering Index, Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (included in ISI Web of Science), and several other indexing services. The papers will contain linked references, XML versions and citable DOI numbers. After the conference, selected papers will be invited for a special issue of the Journal of Computational Science (Impact Factor: 1.925 http://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-computational-science).

The ICCS conference is the prime annual event in Computational Science. This interdisciplinary conference on modelling and simulation of real-world phenomena will draw academic and industry leaders from all relevant fields. ICCS intends to provide a forum to disseminate world-leading research in the field of (scientific) Computational Science and in particular to highlight the role which modelling and simulation plays in future scientific discovery.

As the conference theme this year is “Computational Science in the Interconnected World”, papers highlighting the role of Computational Science in an increasingly interconnected world will be particularly welcomed.

ICCS is an A-rank conference in the CORE classification.

Paper Types and Publications

———————————-

Papers of up to 14 pages, written in English and complying with the Springer LNCS format, should be submitted electronically through the ICCS-EasyChair submission system:

https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iccs20190

Templates are available for download in the EasyChair menu, in the “New submission” mode.

You are welcome to participate in one of the thematic workshops or in the Main Track (if your topic does do fit any workshop but still falls within the scope of the conference). During submission, you may select either a “Full/Short Paper” or a “Abstract Only” publication. By default, it would be an oral presentation. If you prefer to present a poster, please check the “Poster Presentation” option in the submission page.

While we encourage full paper submissions, the “Abstract Only” option caters to researchers who can only publish in specific journals or work for companies in circumstances such that they cannot publish at all, but still want to present their work and discuss it with their peers at ICCS. In the “Abstract Only” option, a short abstract is published in a book of abstracts, but not in LNCS.

Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper.

Papers must be based on unpublished original work and must be submitted to ICCS only.
