This module is open to a maximum of 12 participants and provides learners with the detailed practical knowledge and skills necessary to design and implement offshore biological sampling and data collection. There will be a wide number of topics covered in the short course, including, but not limited to: Sampling and data collection campaign design and planning, environmental impacts of marine industries, and acoustic methods for detection, identification and surveying marine mammals.
