An engineer (IE) in biology position will be open at the Station Biologique de Roscoff (SBR), Brittany, France to study the role of translation control during kidney regeneration. The project aims to identify self renewing nephron progenitor cells in marine species with regeneration properties in order to study the mechanism of kidney regeneration, an ability which has been lost in mammals. Experience in microtome and confocal microscope handling is wishable. Basic knowledge in animal development biology would also be appreciable
