The Department of Oceanography at Dalhousie University is looking to fill
two faculty positions (both are Canada Research Chairs; see www.chairs.gc.ca).
Dalhousie is also looking for a Science Director for its new Ocean Frontier
Institute (this will be a tenured faculty appointment at the rank of full
professor; it could be in the Oceanography Department or another department
at Dalhousie).
Of the two CRC positions, one is in Biological Oceanography (a Tier 1 CRC
aimed at an internationally recognized leader in this field). The other CRC
position is in Physical Oceanography (a Tier 2 CRC aiming at an excellent
