The Data and information Technology Development Group (DiG) of the Global Oceanographic Data Center (GODAC) (Deputy Director: Akira Sonoda); the Research Institute for Value-Added-Information Generation (VAiG); and the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) together solicit applications for a Researcher (II) or Research Technician position.
We seek a Researcher (II) or a Research Technician who will be involved in the development and implementation of essential infrastructures (data connection APIs and other tools) facilitating data inflow from existing information systems. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of the Value-Added Information Creation System via active connection with research institutions in Japan and elsewhere.
