Subsequent appointments may be offered on an annual basis, under the same terms and conditions, at the discretion of the university and contingent upon availability of resources. We seek broadly trained candidates with expertise in sub-tropical and tropical marine biology. The position is anticipated to begin in summer 2024. Salary will be commensurate with experience. In addition to courses, we also hosts a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate research interns each year, including the NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program.

The successful candidate will be required to teach a variety of courses, including Introductory Marine Ecology, Coral Reef Ecology, and Marine Invertebrate Zoology, and to supervise undergraduate research and laboratory activities. The role will also include co-ordination of the REU program at ASU BIOS. Additional new courses may be developed to serve the needs of the rapidly evolving and growing academic programs at ASU BIOS.
