We are looking for a last-minute volunteer to help conduct research at the Palau International Coral Reef Center in the coming months, ideally starting early next month.

We are PhD students from the Marine Spatial Ecology Lab at the University of Queensland, supervised by Peter Mumby. We will be leaving at the end of this month, working in Palau until early May. The perspective volunteer would mainly help with diving related field work, focusing on fish herbivory research, along with some lab work, focusing on coral recruitment. An advanced open water dive certification, or equivalent, is required.

The volunteer would need to cover flights to Palau, and accommodation in Palau. In return, this would be a great opportunity for someone to get hands-on experience in coral reef research, and enjoy free diving in Palau.

If interested, and available for any length of time between early February and May, please do not hesitate to contact us:
