We launched a call for proposals from academic institutions to host PhD scholars to carry out research in the areas of Ocean Science Services and Port and Maritime Services in August 2014. The Ocean Science PhD Fellows will be based at the Marine Institute’s Headquarters in Oranmore, Galway while the Port Performance PhD Fellow will be based at the Marine Institute’s IMDO Office in Harcourt Street, Dublin.
Proposals were invited from suitable Research Supervisors at Higher Education Institutions with the necessary competence to host/co-supervise the PhD Fellows.
