The Journal Life (MDPI,IF 3.817) is welcoming submissions for its special issue entitled “Life below the Surface: Biodiversity, Conservation and Adaptation to Environmental Disturbances”.
Manuscripts on the following topics, but not limited to, are welcomed:
- Assessing marine biodiversity from understudied areas.
- Describing new species, using latest molecular techniques, or phylogenetic reclassification of marine organisms.
- Acclimatization and adaptation of marine organisms to disturbances such as marine heat waves, ocean acidification, pollution and biotic stressors.
- Conservation strategies based on molecular genetics such as human-assisted evolution and use of biomarkers
Submissions from early career scientists are highly encouraged.
Deadline for manuscript submissions: 4 April 2022.
