The successful candidate will conduct sea-going and experimental studies on the microbial turnover of organic matter in the Arctic Ocean. The successful candidate will commence their role on 1 April 2018. A requirement for this position is a completed university degree (diploma or Master) relating to Biological Oceanography. Basic knowledge of Physical and Chemical Oceanography is expected. Experiences with the methods of measuring organic compounds and their microbial degradation in seawater are desirable.
