The Institute of Marine Sciences in Barcelona (CSIC) has two new positions available (PhD and Research Associate) in computational ecology of marine ecosystems. The open positions are within the frame of a research project SPEAD, funded by the Spanish National Science Foundation. The PhD student will investigate the potential of adaptive evolution to affect the response of phytoplankton communities to a warmer and more stratified ocean due to climate change, while the Research Associate will be in charge of the numerical aspects of the global ocean mode.
