The European COST Action (FA1406) PHYCOMORPH will hold its next scientific meeting in Limassol, CYPRUS: 29-30 September 2016.
These 2 days will report progresses and prospects in the 4 PHYCOMORPH Working Groups: Fertility,Reproduction and Early stages, Adult growth and Technological tools in and for Macroalgae.
The preliminary list of speakers includes experts in the evolution of charophytes, volvox morphology and evolution, plant morpho-patterning, algal cryopreservation, seaweed aquaculture, macroalgal genomics, cell wall imaging, ulva genomics and more. Selected speakers will be funded up to €800 according to the COST Association reimbursement rules. Additional information about the venue and transportation are provided in the link below.
