This role is critical and requires strong leadership, effective decision making and excellent communication skills, to:
– Monitor, review and act where necessary, to ensure a high standard of delivery by our contracted ship management company, P&O Maritime.
– Liaise with a wide pool of seagoing staff and the Scientists in Charge (SIC’s) to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of all seagoing surveys.
– Provide an interface to the customer, with quarterly performance reporting of our delivery, to delight the customer.
The post holder will be responsible for managing the vessel survey bookings by liaising with the Business Development manager, SIC’s and P&O to ensure that the vessel is fully utilised.
