The fishing sector, NGOs, national administrations, EU institutions and interested members of the public are invited to participate in a seminar and discussion on the status of European fish stocks and the economic situation of European fishing fleets. Presentations will be made by senior experts in fisheries biology concerning the Mediterranean and Black Seas, the northeast Atlantic and nearby waters, and a senior fisheries economist concerning the economic structure of the fishing vessels of the EU. The seminar will take place in Centre Albert Borschette, Brussels on 15 July 2016.
There will be access to live web-streaming on the day of the seminar.
