The World Maritime University (WMU) in Malmö, Sweden, currently has two roles available for Professors:
- The Professor in Marine Technology and Ocean Sustainability role is a two year, fixed-term contract. Applicants for the role should preferably have strong subject mastery/experience in the international policy framework of the maritime and oceans sectors, as well as a proven track record of research and collaboration particularly with respect to the management and policy dimensions of marine technology and innovation.
- Applicants for the Professor in Sustainable Marine Management and Ocean Governance role should idealy have a proven track record of both research and collaboration in sustainable fisheries management/natural and social science and marine planning/management, knowledge transfer and capacity building experience that relates to improving the sustainability of the oceans on a local, national, regional and global level.
